CIVL Responding to COVID-19

CIVL is closely monitoring the evolving situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) in partnership with state and local officials. Additionally, CIVL is actively participating in the Special Events/Hospitality Special Task Force to keep communication flowing and receive real-time updates as things progress.

Rest assured that the health and safety of our audiences, artists, and staff remain our highest priority. To provide the safest experience in our venues, each venue is taking additional preventative measures as recommended by the CDC and CDPH—including increased cleaning and sanitation procedures in our venues and encouraging those who are sick to stay home.

We encourage our audiences to use preventive hygiene practices to limit the spread of respiratory diseases including:

  • Cover your sneezes and coughs, and wash hands after either.

  • Use soap and water to wash hands at frequent intervals, and for 20+ seconds per instance.

  • Try not to touch face with hands, and avoid direct physical contact with customers as much as possible.

  • STAY HOME if you are sick or feel like you are getting sick.

All events of 1000+ people will be suspended for the next 30 days, and then in coordination with the city of Chicago we will reassess the situation.
